Website data

What type of information do we collect?

 

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website contact form, or provide us in any other way.

In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; we also use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, any contact details you give us, the text of your email communications to us);  comments, feedback on blog posts.

 

How do we collect information?

We collect information when you send a message through the contact form, or email us from a link on the website.

 

How do we use this information?

Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:;

  1. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  2. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How do we store this information?

 

Our company website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to design the website and use contact forms. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall (Wix privacy policy).

 

On occasion we use Google forms to collect survey data. Where we collect personal information through surveys, this information is subject to the same policies as that collected on our website.  The data is held on a protected professional Google Drive (Google privacy policy) and is password and 2FA protected and only accessible to company employees or client partners where absolutely necessary within these same agreed usage parameters.  

Wix and Google are "Processors" of user information, as defined in the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the data controller is Mack Digital.

How will we contact you?

We will only use your information to contact you if or when you have asked us to discuss providing a service. Your email address will not be used for email marketing until or unless you have specifically subscribed for that purpose.

 

How do we use cookies and other tracking tools?

We only use 3rd party cookies (Google Analytics) to track statistics such as the volume and behaviour of site visitors, and this data is not linked in any way to the personal information you provide on the contact form.

Opting out

If you don’t want us to process your data anymore, please contact us at mel@mack-digital.co.uk to be removed permanently.

Client Data

In the course of our business, Mack Digital is sometimes given limited access to client customer data including non-personal and personal data as described in the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), however the data controller is Mack Digital.

 

Mack Digital is a registered data controller with the UK Information Commissioner (ICO  register). We will sign an NDA wherever required and all personal data is kept on secure UK servers and deleted as soon as a project is complete.
